The Scribble Project was created by Lisa Currie as a sort of doodled interview - to watch how every person attacks the same sheet in a new way.
The steps to partcipate are simple, print out the scribble sheet, fill in the appropriate information and doodle away! Once you are done, send it to lisacurrieee@gmail.com as a JPG image at least 700px wide.
Here are a few examples:

We are hoping to have all of the council members post some examples of their own art.
As for myself, my medium of choice is photography. Entertainment photography, to be more specific. Below are my favourite pictures from the last concert I had the privilege of covering.

We have completed our first ever art show!

After what seemed like hours of setting up, we finally had a magnificent wall of all of our correspondence with a Hamilton Youth Council.

Shortly after, the first band came and set up their equipment and prepared to soundcheck.

We set up our zine table, as well as our buttons. They were a huge hit and we made about sixty dollars to go towards our next art initiative.

Our lovely performers prepared their sets to further entertain our visitors. Raising Atlantis, All Heads Up and DJ Lucifer had their soundcheck, with the help of our sound tech, Bronte.

With a few final touches, we were ready to roll.

After we opened out doors we had our first audience, taking our first step towards a ‘youth art friendly’ Oakville.

There was some dancing…

And our lovely attendees got to watch local youth bands perform.

First up was All Heads Up for, from what I hear, was their first show ever!

Our final act was Raising Atlantis, who got the crowd going by jumping in and starting their own moshpit to their power-punk sound.
Overall, the show was a personal success for all of us. Please check out and promote these bands and come out to our next event!
Feel free to leave a photo or a comment below. We would love to hear your feedback!
Anything to add to the experience?
Awesome sauce stuff you need to check out 8D We’re all gonna post something that we do >D (but no one knows this yet haha!) So this is my part, yay! This is one of my characters for my animated series that is not made yet. I hope it goes well. Her name is Runa (roo-na) ah well, fun stuff. Don’t want to ramble XDDD SO LONG FOR NOW

Wayne Thiebaud is a California artist best know for his paintings of everyday objects and is particularly famous for his mouth-watering pictures of cakes, pies, and other sweets! I think Michael Kimmelman summed it up best when he wrote in the New York Times in 2001 that “If the world were a perfect place, the Wayne Thiebaud retrospective that has just opened at the Whitney Museum would be nailed to the walls for good and we would be free to stop by whenever we needed to remind ourselves what happiness feels like.”
